Post Thanksgiving Syndrome.

After one week of a good holiday. "Good enough to rest, sleep well, eat well, play well etc etc" First day of classes after thanksgiving seems kinda odd. I cannot describe this feeling inside. It is almost like a blend of panic, restless, and heart just keep pounding faster and faster. As if something is going to happen. Gee...Its just weird..

I will claim that I had an awesome break despite the mountain high of assignments and research papers I have yet to complete. Well, eventually things will all fall into place, its just the matter of time. This is rule #1 from the art of procrastination. *wink*

1o things I did and enjoyed very much over the break:
#1. Roasting that yummy turkey
#2. STAA joy ride with Cynthia and Chloe (and still loving it)
#3. Sushi House (absolutely Yummy)
#4. Whirlpool Amana plant tour (eye opening!)
#5. Watching Feng Sheng with Teng Foong

#6. Stemboat with the CR kakis
#7. Played the bean bean game and man, its fun but tiring.. hahah!
#8. Watch the line grow longer and longer in every outlet store
#9. Panera early morning after whole night of watching people shop
#10. Back to hanging out with friends in Ames.

Although the black Friday shopping spree was not that much of a success for me, I had a great time chilling and just watching people do their spendings.
Cha ching! Cha Ching!

Pray hard that the uncomfortable feeling will go away,pray harder that I will be able to concentrate and focus hard enough of this two weeks of crunch time.
Good luck everyone! Lets work hard for the last two weeks before finals! hard work will pay off, trust me! we will work our ass off for the two weeks and own the final paper!

my "Thanksgiving" break

Thanksgiving, in definition to others:

" Thanksgiving was historically a religious observation to give thanks to God, but is now primarily identified as a secular holiday. During Thanksgiving Day families and friends usually gather for a large meal or dinner. Consequently the Thanksgiving holiday weekend is one of the busiest travel periods of the year. Thanksgiving is a four-day or five-day weekend vacation for schools and colleges. "

All is true, except that whatever that is bold is a LIE!

Let me enlighten you with the true meaning of thanksgiving:

" Thanksgiving is a 9 days break of relaxing and resting after crazy semesters of projects, research papers, 15 hours lab a week, and tons of meetings. AND it doesn't end right there. I have 2 research paper,1 lab report,2 homeworks, 1 take home exam,one exam after thanksgiving and a group presentation."

At least, I am happy that I'm going to meet up with Teng Foong on Wednesday, visit Amana colony,have dinner at Sushi Hse, steamboat with keny and gang, then some black friday shopping at Williamsburg. :)
It will be my very first manufacturing plant tour! I am excited to see how it differs from food processing plant.

Imagine little refrigerator lining up in a conveyor belt, waiting to be fried and come out as 'fridge chips'.. they probably come in different flavors, spicy, barbeque, cheese fridge chips.. hahaha!

Hm.. I need to get back to my pile of assignments. Hopefully I'll get most of it, ALL OF IT done today so I can probably enjoy the rest of the week. In which means, there will be no sight of Rachel anywhere else than her room, in front of the computer, finishing up those projects..

26. Sushi Lunch on Saturday again?!
