The New Year Resolution

2010 is the year I looked forward to since the day I touched down in the states. This year, I will graduate with a degree in Food Science and Industry. A bonus will be the surprise internship in Ireland after graduation and follow up with a job hunt, a full time job.

Flying an almost 10 thousand miles from Malaysia to Des Moines on the August 2007 has marked a giant leap forward in my life. For the past 2 and a half years, I had my painful down fall but no matter what happened, I told myself to fight and I stood up strong again. Of course, I did not do this by myself, I have great friends, sisters and brothers who has decided to travel with me through the thick and thins. From them I learned to love, care and self preserve. The years in the states has thought me to be a good daughter, good sister, good friend, good girl friend, good student, good leader...Like many others, I developed my own definition of being a good person and to be like one, I believe that it will be a life long learning process.

Thus in 2010, I promise to self improve, to have stronger determination in pursuing my dreams.
